The Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine celebrates the birth anniversary of imams al-Baqir and al-Hadi (peace be upon them)

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized on Saturday a ceremony celebrating the anniversary of the birth of imams al-Baqir and al-Hadi (peace be upon them).

The ceremony was launched in the presence of the director of the Office of the Senior Official; Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, members of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mohammad al-Ashigar, Dr. Abbas Rashid al-Deda al-Mousawi, a number of department heads, and deputy secretary general of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine; Mr. Alaa Aal Dia-Uddin.

The ceremony was opened with a beautiful recitation by the reader Ammar al-Hilli, followed by a speech by the general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine delivered by its board member Dr. Abbas Rashid al-Deda al-Mousawi, in which he stressed that the holy shrine takes the occasions of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) as a platform to spread the origins of the faith and consolidate the values of religion in the conscience of the Islamic nation.

The ceremony included several parts, including the poetry in which the poet Mohammad Taher al-Saffar, the poet Mohammad al-Aajibi, and the poet Firas al-Asadi participated.

The ceremony included a Husseini chant, which sang the birth of the two imams al-Baqir and al-Hadi (peace be upon them), presented by the narrator Ali al-Dhahabi.

The ceremony concluded with honoring the winners of the cultural competition for the birth anniversaries of imams Mohammad al-Baqir and Ali al-Hadi(peace be upon them), which was launched earlier by the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs.
