The Department of Intellectual Affairs holds a condolence Council in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hadi (peace be upon him)

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held a condolence Council on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hadi (peace be upon him) in the African country of Rwanda.

The director of the Center for African Studies of the Department, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that "the council was held at the Imam al-Mahdi mosque (peace be upon him) in the state of Rwanda, and witnessed a large attendance of followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)".

He added that"the council included a lecture that dealt with important fragments of the life of Imam al-Hadi (peace be upon him) and revealed his role in confronting intellectual deviations and repelling suspicions, and clarifying his virtues, knowledge and moral virtues".
