The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine honors its delegation organizing the festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in India

The secretary-general of the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Murtadha Aal Dea-Uddin, honored the delegation of the holy shrine organizing the activities of the seventh annual Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) cultural festival, held in the Indian city of Mumbai.

The ceremony was attended by members of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Sayed Laith al-Mousawi and Sayed Jawad al-Hasnawi, and a number of heads of its departments.

The Secretary General Mustafa Murtada Aal Dea-Uddin said, "today we extended our praise and honor to the delegation of the holy shrine for their exceptional efforts in organizing the seventh annual cultural festival of the Commander of the Faithful(peace be upon him), which was held under the slogan (The Commander of the Faithful -peace be upon him - Harun of the Imamate and witness on the day of judgment); on the birth anniversary of Imam Ali(peace be upon him), at the Mokul mosque – in the city of Mumbai, with the aim of spreading the culture of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their knowledge".

He added that "this edition of the festival witnessed the participation of the holy shrines of Iraq, as well as the organizer, the Al-Abbas's(p) shrine, to give a positive image of the hard work and activities carried out by the holy shrines, to convey its message to the lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) inside and outside Iraq".

The festival included various activities and events, including raising the flags of the holy shrines, opening a book fair, visiting religious schools, presenting honorary gifts, as well as holding a Quranic forum, and holding a lottery for the winners to have the honor of visiting the holy shrines in Iraq.
