The Department of Intellectual Affairs holds the festival of the birth anniversaries of Mohammadian moons

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held the festival of the birth anniversaries of the Mohammadian moons on the occasion of their birth anniversaries, during the blessed month of Sha'ban in the oases of the green belt.

The commissioner general of the Al-Kafeel Scouts Association of the Department; Sayed Ali Hussein Abd Zayd, said that "the association held the festival of the birth of Mohammadian moons in the oases of the green belt, on the occasion of the birth anniversaries in the holy month of Sha'ban, with the participation of more than 600 people".

"The purpose of holding these programs in public places is to revive the memory of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and to give the community an opportunity to celebrate in a civilized manner according to Islamic teachings,"he added.

He added that"the festival included a number of various activities and events that shed light on the legacy of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), his great effects, and the importance of imitating him, in addition to a theatrical performance aimed at promoting human values and principles".

"The festival program included the establishment of interactive stations such as the Quranic station, drawing, scouting games, Intelligence games, and general culture, and also honored the participants with valuable gifts in kind,"Abd Zayd pointed out.
