Walking towards the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) to commemorate the martyrdom's anniversary of the Holy Prophet (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household)

Hundreds of thousands of believers from Iraq and beyond, are arriving to the holy city of Najaf to present their condolences to Imam Ali, the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in the painful anniversary of the martyrdom of the Greatest Prophet of God (prayers and Allah peace be upon him and his holy Household) in the twenty-eighth of the month of Safar.

Crowds of visitors travelled from their home provinces on feet to the holy city of Najaf, men and women, children and elderly, healthy people and disabled, all of them determined to commemorate this painful occasion, and along the roads services' processions were deployed to provide the services to the visitors, in addition to receiving them by the nearby houses to stay overnight.

The Board member of the administration of the Imam Ali's (p) holy shrine , Mr. Ali Khudair Hajji confirmed that: "The holy shrine is ready to receive the visitors of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) on the occasion of the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household), and prepared all the operations from the security, services and logistic sides, and is willing to provide an accommodation of a capacity of 30 thousand visitors in the the courtyard of Fatema (peace be upon her), like it had prepared from the security side a smooth entry and exit of the visitors from the five gates of the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and it was able to prepare vehicles for the transport of the visitors from the security check points to the closest point that leads to the holy shrine, in addition to preparing a special frequency for the satellite TV channels and all the visual Media to broadcast live the events of this Zyarat."

For their side, the security, services and health bodies in the province of Najaf declared their readiness to receive the visitors, as the security forces of the province of the holy Najaf launched its security plans in preparation to commemorate the martyrdom's anniversary of Mohammed the Prophet of Mercy (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household).

It is worth noting that one of the recommended acts stated in the holy narrations of the House of infallibility and Prophecy (prayers of God be upon them) on this occasion is to the Zyarat of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).
