The Restaurant Department counts its services provided to visitors of the fifteenth of Sha'ban

The Restaurant Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine counted its services provided to visitors of the fifteenth of Sha'ban in the city of Karbala, confirming the provision of meals to more than (700) thousand people through four outlets.

The head of the Department, Mr. Adel al-Hammami, said that the department has prepared a plan to distribute the main and intermediate meals through four outlets for visitors of the fifteenth of the blessed month of Sha'ban, in order to serve as many arrivals as possible to commemorate the auspicious birth anniversary of the expected Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah Almighty hasten his holy reappearance), as the total number of beneficiaries of the services reached (739688) visitors for the period from 1st to 14 Sha'ban 1445 AH.

He added that the preparation of meals provided to volunteers amounted to (52,868) meals, for employees (6,507) meals, and the number of meals for external parties (29,600) meals, while the number of meals for external distribution to visitors reached (108,500) meals through three outlets (card and take-away distribution caravan, Bab al-Qibla Street, and the host procession near the complex of imam al-Askari peace be upon him).

He added that the meals provided to guests, forums and visitors amounted to (24,008) meals, the number of meals distributed through the Imam al-Redha (peace be upon him) procession outlet was (76,000) meals, while the number of visitors, guests and delegations coming to get the blessed meals inside the restaurant reached (10,493) people, and the (78,087) host, take-away and campaigns blessing cards were distributed, and the number of vows cards for the donor brothers reached (2625) cards.

Al-Hammami pointed out that the staff of the department distributed about (351,000) of meals that varied between (sweets, juices, tea) along with bottles of water, pointing out that the department used to be alert in the major Ziyarat, especially the Ziyarat of the fifteenth of Sha'ban through its own plan for the crowds going to the holy city of Karbala.
