The tenth episode of the Al-Ameed Award competition for reciting the Quran witnesses the victory of a Syrian contestant

The tenth episode of the Al-Ameed International Quran recitation Award competition witnessed the victory of the contestant Ayad Bassam Mahra from Syria.

The competition is held by the scientific complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, with the participation of readers from (21) Arab and foreign countries, coinciding with the advent of the holy month of Ramadhan.

The tenth episode began with an Iraqi-style Quranic recitation by the reader Hussein Shallal, and then the performance of the contestants (Iyad Bassam Mahra from Syria, Ahmed Hassan Hamza from Iraq, Mohammed Hussein Noh Haj Hosseini from Iran, and Abdul Rahman Qaid from Yemen), and evaluated by the judging committee.

The contestants competed by reciting the book of Allah and reciting its verses in distinctive ways, to conclude the activities of the tenth episode by announcing the winner of the first place and qualifying for the next stage, reader Iyad Bassam Mahra from Syria.

"The competition will achieve a wider global spread in the coming years," Mahra said, expressing gratitude to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for its attention and care to the Holy Quran, praising the high Organization of the competition.

The competition is one of the contributions of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to spread the Quranic culture, as the correct method for the goodness of the individual and society.
