The Holy Quran women's Institute holds the second team competition in Najaf

The Holy Quran women's Institute held the second team competition in Najaf province in the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The head of the Media Unit at the Institute, Dr. Esraa al-Akrawi, said that"the Institute held the second team competition to memorize the Holy Quran, coinciding with the days of the holy month of Ramadhan, in order to motivate participants to memorize the Holy Quran".

"Four teams are participating in the competition, namely (the headquarters of the Institute, al-Barakiya Center, al-Ghari, and al-Ghadeer village), so that each two teams compete together, and the winning teams qualify for the final competition, and in conclusion, the winning team and all the participants are honored,"she added.

"The recitation and memorization unit of the Institute oversees the competition, as a jury was formed from the Institute's professors specializing in the quality of memorization, recitation rules, Waqf, and initiation,"al-Akrawi continued.

She stressed that"the institute is always keen to involve new female students of the Institute in the competition, so that they have an incentive to participate in future activities, such as preliminary, national and international competitions and forums".
