The condolences processions in Karbala recall the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) at the shrines of his two sons

The condolences' processions of the people of Karbala commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali(peace be upon him), at the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon them).

The condolences processions began with their annual ceremonies more than two nights ago and will continue after the martyrdom anniversary, and they took from the evening hours as a date for their movement and continue until dawn prayer, and most of the Karbala processions with their bodies, parties and varieties participated in the ceremonies.

The Department of hussayni rituals and processions in Iraq and the Islamic world, affiliated with the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), has prepared a plan for the movement of these processions according to a temporal and spatial schedule.

One of the sponsors of the processions, Mr. Abu Sabah Al-Ali, said that"the people of Karbala have been accustomed since ancient times to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) at this time".

He added that"the processions, as usual, start from the roads leading to the two holy shrines to reach them, after they line up in groups chanting elegies about this painful tragedy that has affected the hearts of believers".

The mourning was not limited to the mourners of the processions, but was shared by a group of visitors who mourned the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali(peace be upon him).
