The Department of Intellectual Affairs commemorates the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in Rwanda

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in the African state of Rwanda.

The program of commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) was organized by the African Studies Center of the Department.

The coordinator of the Center in Rwanda, Sheikh Abu Haidar Yas, said that"the program to commemorate the night of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), included holding a condolence Council and an educational religious lecture, attended by a gathering of loyal and loving believers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in Rwanda".

He added that"the lecture dealt with aspects of the biography of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), the lessons learned from his life, and his sacrifices for the Islamic religion".

Yas pointed out that"the lecture touched on the leadership of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and its impact on the preservation of authentic Mohammadian Islam and Islamic Society, and his work in establishing a state of justice and equality for Man".
