The Green Belt project receives hundreds of families during Eid al-Fitr

The Southern Green Belt project of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine received hundreds of families during Eid al-Fitr.

The project continues to open its doors to families and visitors during Eid al-Fitr.

The holy shrine works to support the recreational aspect of the Karbala and visiting families by providing green spaces and making them places to sit and enjoy the beauty of the place, in addition to providing the necessary services and supplies to receive families.

The project contains (24) green oases that welcome visitors for hiking, and includes multiple tourist and recreational facilities and special places for Rest, In addition to places dedicated to children's games, ornamental ponds and fish farming, as well as places dedicated to barbecue, in addition to its green spaces and public gardens, and water fountains.

The residents, in turn, confirmed that the Holy Shrine provided a real outlet for the Karbala families, by developing and perpetuating the Green Belt project, which represents an opportunity for them to get away from the pressure of work and overcrowding in the city.
