The Department of gifts and vows at the holy shrine ensured the sewing of black banners on which the words of sorrow and consolation were written to the Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his family (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them).
The staff of the holy care department spread the signs of grief throughout the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), as they hung pieces and condolence signs that were sewn, embroidered and formed after taking all the measurements for each area of the holy courtyard, from walls, entrances and exits.
The condolence signs were designed in the form of ribbons posted in the Iwans and columns inside the Holy Shrine, and the large ones were hung in the walls and external entrances.
The tragic anniversary of the demolition of the graves of the imams of guidance (peace be upon them) in Al-Baqi Al-Gharqad in the year 1344 AH, is considered one of the eternal occasions in the souls of believers, as the sorrows of the Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their lovers are renewed.
The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine has prepared a condolence program to commemorate this anniversary, as every year, which is preceded by the dissemination of signs of grief throughout the holy shrine.
