At the Al-Kafeel Hospital.. The success of a kidney transplant for a patient suffering from a disability

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Hospital successfully performed a kidney transplant on a patient in the fourth decade of life who was suffering from a disability.

Dr. Asaad Abdel Aoun, a kidney transplant specialist, said:"We performed a successful operation on a patient in the fourth decade of life who was suffering from chronic kidney failure that caused him many health complications such as general weakness, lethargy, anemia, with swelling in the legs.

He added, " after completing the necessary medical tests for the donor and the recipient, they were thoroughly prepared for the operation," indicating that " the operation was performed with Periscope technology and with a very small hole through which the kidney was transferred from the donor to the recipient patient without any health complications for the two patients to come out healthy afterwards."

Abdul Aoun attributed the success of the operation to the High experience possessed by the medical team, in addition to the capabilities and the appropriate environment provided by the hospital for advanced surgeries.
