Two Westerners express their admiration for the pavilion of the Al-Ameed Association at the Tunis Book Fair

Two Western visitors studying at the Tunisian University of Zaytouna expressed their admiration for the pavilion of the Al-Ameed scientific and intellectual Association at the Tunis International Book Fair.

Mr. James Chambers, an American of European origin, explained:"I come from the USA and my origins are from Western Europe, and I am happy to be in an Iraqi pavilion that carries the thought of Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them), and I am happy that I bought a book about the life of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him) in English, and I find it great."

When asked about his opinion in the pavilion, he said that" it is nice and wonderful to see this collection of books that belong to the Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them), and the Iraqi culture here in Tunisia, "he added commenting on Iraq,"I ask Allah to forgive everyone who was misleading others with false information about Iraq and the Iraqi people."

The conversation revolved around the Arba'een season and the history of Karbala and the origin of its name coming from the days of the flood of the Prophet Noah(peace be upon him), passing through the ancient Iraqi civilizations, up to its biggest event, the immortal epic of at-Taf, and being the most visited city in the world, I wish to visit it, and was shared by his colleague from Russia who said, "This is a strange information, and it shocked me, and this makes me more willing than before to visit Iraq, especially Karbala, and it becomes more important because we became among the followers of the Ahl al-Bayt school(peace be upon them)".

Regarding their conversion from Christianity and their entry into Islam through the Ahl al-Bayt school, Chambers said," I ask Allah to show the truth of Islam and the guidance of the Prophet(Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), to spread throughout the world, "while expressing his wish that"the publications of the scientific and intellectual Al-Ameed association reach all parts of Tunisia."

It should be noted that the Al-Ameed scientific and intellectual Association has concluded a cooperation agreement with the departments and intellectual and scientific centers affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, namely; the scientific complex of the Holy Quran, the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, the higher authority for the revival of heritage, the Department of Islamic and humanitarian knowledge affairs, the Islamic Center for Strategic Studies, and the Library and House of manuscripts of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. This cooperation has included the publication and distribution of cultural and religious publications issued by it, and participation in local and international festivals and exhibitions.
