The Romanian Ambassador visited the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and met with its Secretary General to discuss ways of cooperation..

The Ambassador of the Republic of Romania in Iraq had the honour to visit the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and met during his visit, the Secretary- General of the holy shrine, Sayed. Ahmed Al-Safi, and have discussed many issues of common interest and ways through which the ties between the two countries can be strengthened, in particular the commercial and investment in Iraq in general and in the holy city of Karbala in particular, and also to transfer the Romanian expertise to the state institutions in the province and their development, to try to rebuild the confidence again between the two countries, as well as discussing some matters related to the prospect of cooperation with the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in its future projects, noting that the Romanian companies had in the past executed many projects in Iraq.

During his visit, the Romanian Ambassador had a tour in some of the projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, including the project "Barakat Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)" for sheep farming and the project of "Khayrat Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)" plantations for the protected cultivation. The Ambassador was also briefed on the two projects and heard a detailed explanation about the nature of work and the used mechanisms and techniques in these projects.

The ambassador showed his extreme astonishment and admiration of the holy shrine's projects and expressed his great pleasure and delight to visit this sacred place, praising the field developments at the holy shrine in terms of reconstruction and expansion, as well as the spiritual and faith atmosphere in it.

Mr. Lacob Prada also has expressed his thanks and gratitude to all those working in the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the wonderful efforts made for the service of these sacred scenes, hoping to develop this relationship for the better in the coming days, through frequent visits, as well as giving the possibility to those who want to invest.
