The delegation of the Department of Intellectual Affairs and the ambassador of Iraq to France discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation

The delegation of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine discussed with the Iraqi ambassador to France ways to enhance joint cooperation.

This came during a meeting between the head of the Iraqi Center for documenting extremist crimes of the department, Dr. Abbas Al-Quraishi, and the Iraqi Ambassador, Dr. Wadi' al-Bitti, in Paris.

The meeting discussed the suffering of the Iraqi people and the challenges they faced as a result of extremist crimes and violence.

The Iraqi ambassador praised and admired the efforts of the Iraqi Center for documenting extremist crimes, stressing the importance of working in France because of its influence in the European Union.

He stressed the need to inform the international community about the humanitarian situation in Iraq, in order to raise awareness of the importance of this aspect, stressing its full readiness to cooperate in achieving this goal.

The meeting is part of the center's activities aimed at identifying the challenges faced by the Iraqi people as a result of extremism and violence, with the aim of consolidating local and international efforts to confront them and mitigate their effects on innocent civilians.
