Intellectual Affairs Department and the Iraqi Embassy in Finland discuss ways to document extremist crimes

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Finland discussed ways to document The Crimes of extremism and violence and convey the suffering of the Iraqi people.

This came during a meeting between the director of the Iraqi Center for the documentation of extremist crimes, Dr. Abbas al-Quraishi, with the charge d'affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Helsinki, Mr. Mukhles al-Kabisi.

The meeting reviewed the efforts of the Iraqi Embassy in following up the file of those accused of committing the Speicher massacre, in addition to discussing the results of investigations related to this heinous crime, and discussed ways to transfer the suffering of the Iraqi people and the difficulties they faced as a result of extremism and violence to Finnish society.

For his part, Al-Kabisi expressed his pride in the efforts exerted by the Iraqi Center, and stressed the importance of joint work in Europe to achieve an effective impact in countering extremism, noting his readiness to cooperate in order to achieve this noble goal.
