Jordanian experts: healthcare at Al-Kafeel hospital is provided according to international standards

The delegation of experts from the accreditation center of health institutions in Jordan confirmed that the healthcare at Al-Kafeel specialized hospital is in accordance with international standards.

This came during the delegation's visit to Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital, in order to get acquainted with the mechanisms of the hospital's work and the services it provides to patients.

The visit included a tour of the hospital and holding a specialized scientific workshop in the patient safety program, which witnessed the presence of a number of academics and health professionals from the public and private sectors from the provinces of Najaf, Karbala and Babylon.

"The (patient safety) program means that we reach a quality, safe and error-free level of health care, and reduce the cost of medical treatment for the patient,"said Jordanian expert, Mr. Omar Tarawneh.

He added that"the most important factors for the success of this project are the continuous training of the staff in various specialties, the adoption of the latest instructions and best practices in the application of healthcare, as well as strengthening the team spirit within the institution".

Tarawneh pointed out that" the team reviewed the reality of work, Service and health care at Al-Kafeel hospital, and touched upon the volume of coordination and high harmony between its staff, and the level of support of its management for various areas of Service and care, and this is a major part of the patient safety application system, "stressing that"with the availability of these factors, the hospital will be able to implement the patient safety project."
