The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine participated in the commemoration of the occasion of Eid al-Ghadeer in Turkey.

The delegation was headed by the head of the Religious Affairs Department at the holy shrine; Sheikh Salah al-Karbalai.

"The holy shrine participated in the commemoration of the occasion of Eid al-Ghadeer in Turkey, and the events of the first day were held at Fatima az-Zahra mosque(peace be upon her) in the Turkish city of Istanbul, and on the second day they were moved to the easternmost city of Agdir in the presence of a wide public,"Karbalai said.

He added that"the participation of the holy shrine came at the direction of its Senior Official; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, and in response to the invitation of the Aal-Bayt Foundation(peace be upon them) in Turkey, and the participation consisted of giving a speech about the importance of commemorating this occasion, because of its great status in the hearts of believers".

At the end of the festive forums, a lottery was held for those present to choose ten winners to visit the two holy shrines in Karbala during the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), according to Karbalai.
