The activities of the conference, which was held at the Al-Ameed University in Karbala, witnessed the presence of the secretary-general of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, a number of members of its board of Directors, officials, academic and official figures.
The conference activities began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reciter of the two holy shrines; Sayed Haydar Gelokhan, followed by the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, listening to the chant of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine (melody of Pride), followed by the speech of the preparatory and scientific committee of the conference delivered by the rector of the University, dean Dr. Jawdat Nuri al-Jash'ami.
The conference activities included the presentation of a documentary film about the first international Imamate week at Al-Ameed University, and the discussion of the opening research (educational dimensions of the imam al-Hassan curriculum - peace be upon him-in building the individual and the nation) by researcher Dr. Ahmed Ali al-Khafaji.
The conference will witness the discussion of (4) researches dealing with multiple axes, including the Qur'an in the thought of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him), the Holy Qur'an in the thought of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him), the reasons for the descent as a model, the intellectual and cultural construction by distinguishing the fake leadership in the era of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him), the argumentation strategy in the sermons of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him).
During the Imamate week, the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine seeks to devote the sciences of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their course in addressing the crises of the contemporary world, and to demonstrate the impact of the role of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in resolving intellectual doubts and countering deviant ideas.
