Processions of Iraqi tribes and clans are preparing to commemorate the burial of the holy bodies of Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them), on the thirteenth of the month of Muharram.

The Iraqi tribes, led by the Bani Asad tribe, set off after the noon prayer, in a mass march towards the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon them), to commemorate the burial of the holy bodies of Imam al-Hussayn and his family and companions(peace be upon them) on the thirteenth of the holy month of Muharram.

The people of Karbala used to remember this occasion and revive it as an inherited ritual custom, with the departure of the tribes of the province and its clans, in addition to tribal delegations representing some tribes that come from other provinces, led by the Bani Asad tribe, which was honored in 61 ah to help Imam as-Sajjad(peace be upon him), in burying the bodies of the martyrs of the at-Taf tragedy, according to the narrations.

The mourning also witnessed the participation of a large number of women who came out in huge processions to extend condolences to Lady Zaynab(peace be upon her) on this tragedy.
