Launching a campaign to remove sand from the doors of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)

The staffs of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine conducted a campaign to remove the sand from in front of the doors of the holy courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), after completing the ceremony of Ziyarat Ashura.

The assistant head of the Maintaining Order Department; Sayed Redha Naji Sahi, said that"the department, in cooperation with the rest of the concerned departments, conducted an extensive campaign to clean the doors of the Holy Shrine and completely remove the sand in them, after Ziyarat Ashura and the end of the mourning of the Twayreej Run and the rest of the Hussayni rituals".

He added that"putting sand at the gates of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and preparing it was at the beginning of the month of Muharram, to avoid visitors falling at those doors during the commemoration of the ceremony of the Blessed Ziyarat, especially the mourning of the Twayreej Run".

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has used the efforts of all its staffs to clean the areas surrounding of the holy shrine to show the place in the most beautiful way.
