From Basra to Karbala.. Three stops of the “Khayyateen” procession on the way of the visitors of the Arba'een

In a journey of faith, humanitarian initiatives are emerging that are added to the scene of the Blessed Ziyarat Arba'een, and among them, the "Khayyateen -tailors-" procession comes from Basra, which provides a unique humanitarian service to the visitors of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

Abu Ahmed Al-Obaidi and his companions provide a different service on the Arba'een road when they employ their profession (sewing) to serve the visitors of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) through the tailors ' procession, which starts on the twenty-eighth of the month of Muharram, the date of the start of the march to Karbala, in the city of Basra.

Abu Ahmed says: We have been used to serving the visitors of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) since 2009, as we are working on sewing and restoring their clothes, as a kind of contribution to the revival of these blessed days.

He adds, "the procession moves with its second station to the city of Samawa, as it continues to provide its services, and then heads to the third station in Twayreej district in Karbala governorate, "indicating that" the procession contains integrated sewing machines at each station, which enables it to provide wider services to visitors.

The procession is an example of what the servants of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) provides on the way of the visitors of the Arba'een, from stories that show the importance of social solidarity among the masses of believers going to the shrine of the Lord of martyrs (peace be upon him).
