The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine opens the Basement of the Umm Al-Baneen Courtyard (peace be upon her) in front of visitors

The Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine opened the Basement of the Umm Al-Baneen Courtyard (peace be upon her), located on the northern side overlooking the holy shrine, to receive the visitors of the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

The head of the holy Courtyard Care Department, Mr. Khalil Mahdi Mohammad, said that "the staffs of the holy shrine have completed the work of the Umm Al-Baneen Courtyard Project(Peace be upon her) to receive visitors, and have worked to provide cooling, lighting and other services, in addition to providing it with 600 luxurious carpets".

He added that"this place is equipped to receive large numbers of visitors, to be a rest and worship station for them, and to ease the momentum in other rest spaces".

For her part, the director of the Office of the Senior Official of women's affairs at the holy shrine; Mona Wael Abbas, said that "according to the directives of the Senior Official of the Abbas's holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, we have started receiving visitors today in the basement of the Umm Al-Baneen(peace be upon her)".

She added that"the female staffs at the holy shrine will start providing medical, cultural, religious and other services, so that this place will be at the service of visitors".

The total area of the Courtyard of 20 thousand square meters is distributed, including the basement, which occupies the entire area, i.e. 10 thousand square meters, and the first and second floors are of 4 thousand square meters per floor, and the middle square with an area of 6 thousand square meters.
