The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has developed advanced technologies through the Haqeebat al-Mo'min Application to protect children during the Ziyarat Arba'een season from getting lost.
The director of the Islamic applications and software center of the Department, Mr. Ali al-Jayashi, said that"the Haqeebat al-Mo'min Application was added to him through the page of guidance for the lost, facial recognition technology to deal with cases of loss among children, while visitors are walking to the Holy Karbala, due to the difficulty of obtaining information from the child, such as the phone number of his parents, or his address."
"The system works after placing the image of the missing children in it to provide their data, names, addresses and phone numbers of their relatives, which facilitates the process of handing over the missing to his relatives,"he added.
Al-Jayashi continued that"the application administration invited those heading to Ziyarat Arba'een to register their children's data in the lost persons guidance page in the "Haqeebat al-Mo'min" Application to facilitate the process of accessing them in case of loss".
This initiative embodies the commitment of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to provide the best means of care and insurance to visitors, especially children, during one of the largest religious events in Iraq.
