The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation with the Ahl Al-Bayt Foundation (peace be upon them) in the state of Niger.
This discussion took place during the reception of the Center for African studies, the president of the Foundation of the Ahl Al-Bayt Association(peace be upon them) in Niger, and the director of the Hawza of Lady Fatima az-Zahra(peace be upon her).
One of the staff of the Preaching Unit at the African Studies Center of the Department, Mr. Muslim al-Jabri, said that "the center received the delegation of the Ahl Al-Bayt Foundation(peace be upon them) in Niger, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides".
He added that"the meeting witnessed a review of the programs and activities held by the center in African communities, with the aim of promoting religious and moral awareness, providing humanitarian assistance in a number of countries on the continent, as well as discussing the implementation of intellectual, religious and humanitarian programs that serve the community in Niger".
For his part, the president of the Foundation, Sheikh Hassan Suleiman Ada, praised the efforts of the Center for African Studies in spreading the thought of Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them) in Africa, expressing his support for the continuation of fruitful cooperation between the two sides to serve the communities there.
