The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine completes the installation of a light data transmission system in the shrine of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her)

The staffs of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine have completed the installation of a data transmission system via optical cable to the shrine of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her).

The supervisor of the work at the shrine of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her); Mr. Firas al-Masoudi, said that" under the direct guidance of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, and under the supervision of specialists in the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the holy shrine, the staff of the technical division of the department completed the installation of a data transmission system via optical cable to the shrine of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her)".

He added that " the work in the system went through multiple stages, including laying an optical cable with a length of 1200 meters and wiring it on the surface of the Holy Courtyard and distributing it to the rooms of the holy courtyard, and delivering it to the cabins," indicating that "the second stage of the work included the installation of the(ODF) optical cable; for the purpose of data transmission, in addition to welding 1000 optical filaments, besides checking the optical filaments and connecting them through special devices."

Al-Masoudi pointed out that "the third stage of the work included programming the Cisco hubswitch devices for data transmission and linking them in booths dedicated for this purpose, and the delivery of RJ45 cables for data transmission to computers and landline phones and programming them".
