The representatives of the Husseini processions in Iraq open the doors of donation in support of the Lebanese people

The representative offices of the hussayni processions in the Iraqi provinces, affiliated to the hussayni rites and processions Department, have started opening donation doors in support of the Lebanese people.

The official of the Husseini processions unit in Diyala province of the Department, Mr. Hikmat Abdul Rauf, said that"the representation in Diyala province and the rest of the representations in the Iraqi provinces, began to open the donation doors in support of the brotherly Lebanese people, and in implementation of the directives of the supreme religious authority in Najaf represented by his eminence Sayed Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani, and the directives of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them)".

"The donations included a range of various materials and necessary supplies, in addition to the logistical matters donated by a group of believers,"he added.

The Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine launched the relief campaign after the call of the supreme religious authority in Najaf to do what contributes to alleviating the suffering of the Lebanese people and securing their humanitarian needs.

The holy shrine opened its warehouses to collect food, medical and necessary supplies, as well as the stations located inside the courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (Peace be upon him), to collect donations and material assistance to deliver them to Lebanon.
