The council, which was supervised by the Institute of the Holy Quran/ Baghdad Branch, began with a beautiful recitation by the reader of the holy shrine; Sayed Hassanein al-Hilu, followed by a speech to the scientific complex delivered by assistant Dr. Alaa al-Mousawi, in which he explained that the complex is keen to organize meaningful Quranic events, as it proceeds from the words of Allah Almighty and works to spread the true Quranic culture, through the establishment of a project that awakens the Quranic energies and consolidates the values and ethics derived from the Holy Quran.
The director of the institute, Mr. Nabil al-Saadi, said that"the council included a set of parts, including honoring more than 1000 students whose training and teaching were supervised by more than 60 professors specialized in the Holy Quran and its Sciences".
He added that"the graduating students received courses and lessons in the provisions of recitation, Tajweed and the sciences of the Holy Quran, as well as courses in melody, sound and investigation, in order to spread awareness of the Qur'an and the sciences of Ahl Al-Bayt(peace be upon them) among the believers".
He explained that"the scientific complex of the Holy Quran has prepared customized curricula according to a systematic scientific program, which is provided to pupils and school students during the summer school holidays, to fill their time with what is useful, and to ensure the emergence of a good generation loving the Holy Quran and the teachings of the Islamic religion on the guidance of the Ahl Al-Bayt school (peace be upon them)".
