The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine holds a religious lecture on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him)

The Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine held a religious lecture on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him).

The head of the Religious Affairs Department, Sheikh Salah al-Khafaji, said that "the holy shrine held an awareness-raising religious lecture before noon prayers, in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him), on the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Askari(peace be upon him).

"The lecture included highlighting his blessed biography (peace be upon him) and his great achievements for the benefit of the Islamic nation,"he added.

Al-Khafaji pointed out that" the lecture included clarifying the injustice suffered by the imam (peace be upon him), and the positions of advice and guidance that he was providing to loyal believers, "indicating that"we touched on other files related to the history of this great personality, and the preparation for the absence of Imam al-Mahdi(may Allah hasten his holy reappearance)".

The Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine is keen to establish religious councils for the remembrance of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), with the aim of reviving their memory and spreading their knowledge and virtues.
