Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine launches the first campaign to detect chronic diseases for its staffs

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launched the first campaign for the early detection of chronic diseases of its staffs.

The campaign is supervised by Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital in cooperation with the Department of medical affairs, with the aim of raising health awareness among the employees of the holy shrine.

"Today, the first campaign was conducted for the early detection of chronic diseases for the holy shrine staff to maintain their physical fitness and general health,"said the advisor to the secretary general of the holy shrine; Mr. Faiz al-Shukraji.

He added that "the purpose of the campaign is to develop the spirit of the health culture of the participants, and encourage them to the mechanism of early screening, indicating that"the campaign includes blood pressure, sugar, oxygen and heart rate tests".

For his part, the medical assistant at the hospital, Mr. Ali Hamid, said that "the aim of the campaign is to measure vital signs and early detection of chronic diseases, and urged its staffs to see doctors in case of abnormal symptoms."

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is keen to spread medical awareness and a comprehensive health culture among its staff.
