Great Attendance of the pavilions of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in India..

The role of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was not limited to the establishment of the Third Annual Cultural Festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), in fact the holy shrine had a wide participation through many pavilions that were an attraction at the exhibition and one of its most important success factors. It participated with five varied pavilions that are the book fair, the photos exhibition, two interactive pavilions; the Zyarat by proxy and the intellectual and ideological contest in addition to the pavilion displaying the pictures of the Zyarat Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and another for the exhibition of rare manuscripts of the library of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in addition to the erection of the dome's flag of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to seek its blessing.

The Member of the Preparatory Committee of the Festival, Mr. Radwan Al-Salami explained to the Al-Kafeel Network: "The goal of these pavilions is to convey to the lovers and followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) moments of tranquillity that one can find at the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), so the visitor feels like he is in those holy spiritual places."

He added: "The pavilion of the intellectual productions of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine included important number of publications including 19 thousand printed publications and 10 thousand images, which were translated to Urdu by the Department of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs with a great variety to suit all age groups. All these publications are realised fully by the units and divisions of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, from authoring, translating, designing to the output, all of which were distributed free of charge to the visitors and attendees of the Fair."

Noting: "For the purpose of generating the spiritual emotions of the visitors, there was the pavilion for the inscription in the list of Zyarat by proxy so the performance of the rituals of the Zyarat at the holy shrines in Iraq is performed at their names. Also there is another pavilion exhibiting pictorial models of the rare manuscripts of the library of the Holy Shrine to be an opportunity to inform the visitors about the value of these treasures and to be a link between the heritage of manuscripts in Iraq and the heritage of Islamic manuscripts in Hyderabad."

And he continued: "And to convey a simplified picture of the Zyarat Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), a photo exhibition was held to give them an idea about this timeless march and the services provided to the visitors along the roads leading to the holy city of Karbala. This exhibition is the product of a photo project adopted by the holy shrine aiming to make an international documentary about this Zyarat."

He added: "Another pavilion was allocated to the intellectual and cultural contest about the personality of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), five questions were asked during the five days of the festival so a draw is conducted at the end of the festival to select the correct answers of twenty winners who will be winning a Zyarat of the holy shrines in Iraq at the expense of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. Also there was a special box set up to receive the letters of the lovers and followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in which they could write their feelings and wishes, at the end all of these letters will be deposited inside the grid of the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)."

Mr. Al-Salami: "All of these pavilions were held under the dome's flag of the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-abbas (peace be upon him), which was one of the most important parts of this festival in a beautiful spiritual scene that showed the rooted love of the the Bearer of the banner of At-Taf (peace be upon him) in the hearts of the people of faith."
