The Maqam department implements an intensive maintenance campaign in preparation for receiving visitors in the winter

The staff of the Imam al-Mahdi's Maqam Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine has started an intensive maintenance campaign in preparation for receiving visitors in the winter.

Assistant head of the Department, engineer Mehdi Mohammed al-Mousawi, said:"the Department's management has developed an integrated program to ensure the continuity of providing services to visitors to the holy Maqam in the winter through the implementation of a wide sustainability campaign for the place."

He added that " the maintenance works included the maintenance of electric heaters for the units of the department and its divisions, updating the internal and external lighting of the holy shrine, in addition to equipping its halls with a modern integrated fixed and mobile acoustics system, the development of a new Hall, and cleaning and painting the external sidewalks."

"The department has deliberately provided a large UPS device to be used in case of sudden power outages, especially in the halls for women,"al-Mousawi pointed out.
