The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine organizes its central celebration on the birth anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her)

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized its annual central celebration on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her).

The ceremony, which was held in the courtyard overlooking the Qibla gate of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), was attended by a number of members of the holy shrine's Board of directors, heads of departments, officials and employees, as well as delegations and personalities representing many parties, in addition to a large number of visitors.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the holy Quran, followed by the reader of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine; Sayed Ammar al-Hilli, followed by the speech of the general secretariat of the holy shrine, delivered by the acting head of the Religious Affairs Department; Sheikh Salah al-Karbalai, and began by congratulating those present and the Islamic nation on the Blessed birth anniversary.

In his speech, Sheikh al-Karbalai recalled that the auspicious birth of the great Lady Zaynab(peace be upon her) was like good news in the House of her father, the Commander of the Faithful(peace be upon him), and reviewed aspects of her honorable biography (peace be upon her) and her standing by her brother, Imam Aba Abdullah al-Hussayn(peace be upon him), and her responsibility to complete his blessed revolution despite all the misfortunes and tragedies she endured.

The director of the Office of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, said that " the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine organizes its annual celebration on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady Al-Hawra Zaynab(peace be upon her), and on this auspicious occasion highlights various stations from the her life (peace be upon her)".

For his part, a member of the Central Committee of celebrations at the Al-Abbas's(P) shrine; Sayed Aqeel al-Yasiri, said that "the celebration organized at the Qibla gate of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(Peace be upon him) included many events, including the recitation of a collection of poems of folk poetry and vertical poetry, and poems of praise for the great lady Zaynab (Peace be upon her)".

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of gifts to the winners of the competition for the birth anniversary of lady Zaynab(peace be upon her), where the number of participants in the competition reached (3037) participants, while the number of correct answers was (1135) answers, and ten winners were selected after drawing lots among them.
