The Department of Intellectual Affairs holds an awareness lecture on the family at Karbala University

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held an awareness lecture on the family at the Faculty of science at Karbala University.

The lecture was organized by the scientific studies and review center of the Department, entitled (steps of building a model family by Lady Fatima az-Zahra -peace be upon her), and came in conjunction with the birth anniversary of Lady Al-Zahra (peace be upon her).

Lecturer Sheikh Hussein Manahi said that"the lecture was held within the activities of the awareness seminar organized by the women's Affairs Unit at the University, and dealt with the statement of the relationship that a model family should be, as well as touching on the House of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) as a role model in assuming responsibility, knowing rights and duties".

He added that" the lecture included multiple topics, including the challenges facing the family, family breakdown and emotional divorce, and the factors that prevent the achievement of a good and cohesive society, "stressing that"building a cohesive family needs to be based on Islamic teachings, which prevail affection and mercy."

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs continues to organize awareness lectures and seminars targeting various segments of society with the aim of promoting Islamic culture and knowledge, and familiarizing individuals with their responsibilities, in order to contribute to building a conscious and stable society.
