Simultaneously with the Ziyarat of the mid of Sha'ban.. The media department launches the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine Projects website

The media department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has launched the Encyclopedia of the holy shrine Projects website, which aims to document and archive its projects, in conjunction with the Ziyarat of the mid of Sha'ban, and to celebrate these blessed days.

The head of the Department, Mr. Ali al-Badri, said that "the department launched the electronic Encyclopedia of the projects of the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine, in conjunction with the Ziyarat of the mid of Sha'ban, and the birth anniversary of the awaited Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah Almighty hasten his holy reappearance), and our faith in these blessed days, after presenting it to the eminence of the Senior Official of Sayed Ahmad al-Safi and the administration of the holy shrine. It took several months to launch this graceful and specialized image according to an objective classification to highlight the various urban, cultural, health, agricultural and educational projects of the holy shrine".

He added that "the work included the allocation of three work teams, all from within the media department, the first team is dedicated to programming and design, the second team is dedicated to data collection and uploading, and the third team to re-archive all the news published in previous years and structure and link them within the new sections".

The importance of this site comes through its encyclopedia of all kinds of projects, and the ease of access to any project in just two steps, namely the selection of the general classification, and the name of the project.

Earlier, the media department held a seminar before the official launch of the website, in the presence of the holy shrine administration and representatives of the departments; in order to update the data, as the project provides a comprehensive introductory platform for all the developmental, cultural, educational, medical, and other projects of the holy shrine.

"The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has multiple and diverse projects that are difficult to cover except through a website with such specifications, so this project is a qualitative leap in facilitating access to data and information related to its activities and projects, in addition to contributing to supporting media professionals, journalists and researchers by providing a source of information,"al-Badri said.

He explained that "the project aims to provide an opportunity for visitors to the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, whether from inside or outside Iraq, to view the details of its works and projects through the website," noting that "the development of the site and updating the data in it is ongoing, and the next stage will be the translation into nine languages launched by the Al-Kafeel Global Network, which is the official website of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine."
