Conclusion of the eighth graduation ceremony of Iraqi and Islamic universities students

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine concluded the graduation ceremony of students of Iraqi universities and Islamic countries of the eighth batch (Al-Kafeel Girls).

The ceremony was held by the Al-Kafeel women's religious schools division of the Office of the Senior Official for women's affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, under the slogan (from the light of Fatima-peace be upon her-we illuminate the world), for the academic year 2023/2024.

The ceremony was held with the participation of more than 4,000 students from inside Iraq, in addition to 170 students from universities in Islamic countries: Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Lebanon, Iran, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The events included the performance of the graduation oath, a march between the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), and concluded with an evening event that included guidance speeches, including a recorded speech by the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, in addition to cultural, poetic and singing events.

A number of martyr families were honored during the ceremony, the holy shrine paid tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of the martyrs who died for Iraq, and their families received solace. Additionally, it included the honoring of pioneering women in the educational movement at Iraqi universities, in recognition of the dedicated and devoted women in fulfilling their duties.
