The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launched the activities of the first day of the legal age of responsibility for schoolgirls ceremony, within the seventh Fatimi Roses project, with the participation of 5 thousand schoolgirls.
The ceremony is held by the Hussayni Women Public Speaking Division of the Office of the Senior Official for Women Affairs at the holy shrine, in cooperation with the Directorate of education of the Holy Karbala, with the participation of 5 thousand schoolgirls from 121 schools.
The ceremony was launched at the Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas's(peace be upon him) complex to serve the visitors, in the presence of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, the secretary general of the holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, his deputy engineer Abbas Musa Ahmed, a number of members of its board of directors, heads of departments and officials, official and educational figures and parents of the schoolgirls.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader of the two holy shrines; Sayed Haydar Gelokhan, followed by listening to the national anthem and the holy shrine anthem (the Pride's melody), then reading Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, and then came the speech of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, delivered by its board member, Dr. Afdhal al-Shami.
The ceremony includes chanting the Pledge of assignment, the speech of the governor of Karbala, in addition to showing a film about the project, a theatrical performance entitled (The Journey of searching for assignment), chanting assignments for the anthem of assignment, and a poetic participation of the poet Mohammad al-Fatimi.
The Takleef ceremony aims to enhance the religious and cultural awareness of the schoolgirls and the development of Islamic values and humanitarian principles in them; to contribute to building a conscious generation capable of taking responsibility.
