The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine holds the mourning flag-raising ceremony in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him)

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held the ceremony of raising the flag of mourning in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (peace be upon him).

The Deputy Head of the Islamic and Human Sciences Affairs Department at the holy shrine, Sheikh Ali al-Asadi, stated: "Under the guidance of the shrine's Senior Official; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him) by holding a mourning assembly and raising the mourning flag on this occasion."

The assistant head of the Islamic and Human Sciences Affairs Department at the holy shrine; Sheikh Ali al-Asadi, said: "Under the guidance of the Senior Official; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi. The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him) by holding a mourning assembly, in addition to raising the flag of sorrow on this occasion."

He added that "the ceremonies to commemorate this sad occasion were held in the presence of a group of believers," noting that "the holy shrine seeks to connect believers with the special occasions of the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and to prepare a generation that adheres to their guardianship and teachings."

The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine is keen on commemorating the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) by holding mourning councils, religious programs, and various mourning activities.
