The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held a series of condolence councils in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (peace be upon him).
The condolence councils were held in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in the presence of a number of the service of the holy shrine and a gathering of visitors.
The condolence program prepared by the holy shrine included the presentation of religious lectures delivered by a number of preachers, reviewing the scientific and intellectual biography of Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), focusing on his role in spreading the sciences of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), in addition to lamenting poems that expressed this sad occasion.
The holy shrine pays great attention to commemorating religious events, including the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), as it holds condolence councils that shed light on his blessed biography, and seeks through them to promote Islamic values and the ideological identity of society.
