The exhibition, which was opened by Tunisian President Kais said, was held at the exhibitions Palace in El Karam in Tunis, under the slogan (We read to build).
The director of the pavilion at the exhibition, Mr. Jassam Mohammed al-Saidi, said:"the Al-Ameed Association and the Islamic Center for Strategic Studies, for example, jointly presented the most prominent Pavilion from the Republic of Iraq, with pride, bringing with them scientific and cognitive diversity, and a rich cultural heritage, through a pavilion which shelves include a large collection of publications expressing scientific and cultural diversity; with the aim of expanding the area of influence and knowledge at the level of Arab countries and the world, to spread knowledge awareness, original thought and the heritage of Islamic Civilization."
He added that "the Al-Ameed Association and the Islamic Center for Strategic Studies are looking forward, through their participation, to build bridges of scientific and cultural communication between what Iraq produces, and between an audience hungry for that product from Tunisia and the Maghreb countries, and with the participation of the two institutions an opportunity to attract the interest of readers and researchers, activate the scientific and cultural role invested by the association and the center to increase awareness and deepen knowledge, and provide sources for the exhibition audience of intellectuals, researchers and students, by providing a distinguished addition to the balance of human intellectual content in general and Islamic thought in particular".
