The Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine continues its work on the great Qibla gate courtyard basement project

The staffs of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continue their work in the second section of the project of the basement of the great basement of the Qibla gate courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (Peace be upon him).

The head of the Engineering Projects Department at the holy shrine, engineer Dia al-Sa'egh, said that the project of the great Qibla gate courtyard basement is located on the south side of the holy shrine, indicating that the project consists of three sections and work is currently underway in its second section.

He added that the works in the basement, which has a total area of 30 thousand square meters, included the excavation of supporting pillars, and the service channel with a depth of 20 meters, pointing out that "it is hoped that the courtyard and the basement of Qibla gate will accommodate more than 120 thousand visitors once completed."

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine pays special attention to expansion projects to accommodate the largest number of visitors to the holy shrines and provide them with the best services.
