The Department of Service Affairs begins the rehabilitation of the Crystal Ice laboratories in preparation for the months of Muharram and Safar

The Service Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has started rehabilitating the crystal ice factories and maintaining their machines, as part of the early preparations for the holy months of Muharram and Safar.

The administrative assistant of the Department, Mr. Abbas Ali, said that " the staff of the department conducted a campaign to maintain and rehabilitate the crystal ice factories, by renovating their floors, maintaining ice machines, and delivering RO water to them in preparation for the summer season and the major Ziyarats, especially during the months of Muharram and Safar."

He added that"the crystal ice laboratories of the Department produce about 300 bags per hour to be provided free of charge to the owners of the Hussayni processions and citizens".

Ali pointed out that"the surplus of ice is stored in designated places with a capacity of 800 bags each, at a temperature of 50 below zero".
