The first lecture was about hemorrhagic fever, delivered by Dr. Zainab Abdul Amir, who explained the ways the disease is transmitted, its main symptoms, and prevention methods, emphasizing the need to be cautious of misleading information circulating in the absence of an effective treatment for the disease to this day.
This was followed by a second lecture that addressed the topic of first aid in cases of burns and choking, focusing on the importance of quick and correct actions to save the injured, and warning against some common incorrect practices that could worsen the condition. It stressed the importance of having basic first aid skills, especially in choking cases that could lead to death within minutes.
The second day's activities concluded with a lecture by Mr. Jaafar al-Murooj, who explained the dimensions and significance of the Hussaini service in emulating the character of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her). He called for this service to be dedicated to God and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), coupled with maintaining modesty and adhering to the Zainabi Abaya. The lecture witnessed interaction from the participants, with various questions that enriched the session and added an atmosphere of awareness and contemplation.
