On his birth anniversary, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine receives the banner of the shrine of Imam ar-Redha (peace be upon him)

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine received the banner of the shrine of Imam ar-Redha (peace be upon him) from the delegation of the ar-Redha's (p) holy shrine on his auspicious birth anniversary.

The delegation was received by the deputy secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, engineer Abbas Musa Ahmed, and the head of its public relations department; Mr. Mohammed Ali Azhar.

Ahmad said:"it is customary every year on the birth anniversary of the imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) that the holy shrines of Imam Ali, of Imam al-Hussayn, of Imam al-Jawad and Imam al-Kadhem, of Imam ar-Redha, of Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-Askari and of al-Abbas (peace be upon them), present the banner of the imam also to the other holy shrines".

"Today we received the delegation of the holy shrine of satisfaction, who presented us with the banner of the shrine of Imam Ali ibn Musa ar-Redha (peace be upon him), on his birth anniversary,"he added.

For his part, the head of the delegation, Sheikh Mohammed Mahdi Sibawayh, said, "We were honored to visit the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), and we presented the banner of the shrine of Imam ar-Redha (peace be upon him) on the occasion of his auspicious birth anniversary, to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine."

The staffs of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine have published decorations and signs of celebration throughout the holy shrine and its surroundings, in commemoration of this blessed anniversary.
