The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues to implement the second phase of expansion works within the Baghdad gate axis

The staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continue to implement the second phase of their work on the expansion project within the Baghdad gate axis.

A member of the Demolition and Expansion Committee at the Holy Shrine; Mr. Hassan Ali Abdul Hussein, said: "Our teams are continuing the second phase of the expansion project, in cooperation and coordination with the Engineering Projects Department and the other supporting departments."

He added that "the works included the demolition of the fourth building among the structures acquired by the holy shrine in this area."

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine aims, through the expansion works in the areas surrounding the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), to accommodate the increasing number of visitors and facilitate their movement during the major Ziyarats.
