Al-Kafeel hospital ends the suffering of a patient after a successful kidney transplant operation

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital in Holy Karbala ended the suffering of a patient with a successful kidney transplant operation.

The consultant of organ transplantation at the hospital, Dr. Asaad Abdel Aoun, said: "the operation was crowned with success, as the transplanted kidney began to work normally immediately after the operation, "indicating that" the donor nephrectomy operation was performed using laparoscopic technology, which is an advanced medical technique characterized by a very small wound, which helps to speed recovery."

He added that"the kidney transplant operation of the patient was performed surgically, and after the operation, the patient was transferred to an isolation room dedicated to organ transplant patients, where he remained under close medical follow-up for two days to ensure the stability of his health, and then transferred to the regular bed room to begin a medical rehabilitation program, including detailed instructions on diet, medications and infection prevention measures."

"The patient will need to stay in partial social isolation for a period of time to reduce the risk of contracting any infectious diseases, pointing out that "the success of the operation is due to the expertise of the medical team and the hospital's means in providing advanced medical services in the field of organ transplantation,"he said.
