The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine continues to implement the second phase of expansion works within the Baghdad gate axis

The staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine continue to implement the second phase of the expansion project for the area surrounding the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), within the Baghdad gate axis.

The Deputy Head of the Machinery Department, Mr. Hassan Ali, said, "Our teams are continuing the second phase of the expansion project surrounding the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine for the tenth day, in cooperation with the Engineering Projects Department and other supporting departments."

He added that "the works included the demolition of the fifth building among the buildings acquired by the holy shrine, in addition to removing the debris resulting from the demolition operations in the area; to be ready in the coming days to serve the visitors."

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine aims, through the expansion works in the areas surrounding the holy shrine, to accommodate the increasing number of visitors and facilitate their movement during the major Ziyarats.
