The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine holds a closing ceremony for the educational experiences of kindergartens in the Al-Ameed Group

The Education and Teaching Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held the closing ceremony for the educational experiences of the Al-Ameed Educational Group's kindergartens for the year 2025.

The ceremony was held under the slogan "Towards the Moon: Planting, Nurturing, and Bearing Fruit," with the presence of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; His Eminence Sheikh Ahmad al-Safi, its Secretary-General Sayed Mustafa Murtada Aal Dia-Uddin, several members of its Board of Directors and officials, in addition to academic figures and the families of the children.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the reading of the Iraqi national anthem and the song "Melody of Pride," and the recitation of Al-Fatiha in honor of the souls of Iraq's martyrs.

The head of the Education and Teaching Department, Mr. Hassan Dakhel, delivered a speech in which he said: "The closing ceremony of the educational experiences represents a sincere manifestation of a distinguished educational vision and an authentic educational project born from one of the great principles of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, which is the principle of paying attention to every vital strategic matter that can benefit and uplift society, creating a direct positive difference in various fields of development and progress." He added, "The Al-Ameed Educational Group has managed to establish a unique identity for itself through the high-quality educational services it has provided over a period exceeding a decade, creating a model to be emulated by those who wish to understand the true message of educational work and how to uplift it in a time like ours."

He explained, "If the essence of the Al-Ameed's vision is to create a comprehensive educational system that provides a complete path for its learners, starting from the elementary stage and upward, then kindergartens in this system have a special status and a distinguished role that the Al-Ameed's identity owes much of its brilliance to. This is because they undertake the task of solid foundation and necessary preparation, so that the child can start their academic journey in the best possible way, equipped with the necessary independent, personal, and social skills and experiences, which represent the foundations of academic success in the subsequent path." He clarified, "Working in the early childhood stage is unlike any other, as it is a precise task with its own specific requirements, based on the firm belief that everything instilled in the child's soul in their early years is what determines the features of their personality and individual and social behavior in the future."

He explained that "the awareness of the Al-Ameed Group of its important foundational role is a motivation and an incentive to create a unique curriculum that highlights its differences, showcases its uniqueness, and translates its message. The 'Towards the Moon' curriculum is a comprehensive and coherent system of experiences covering all dimensions of human formation. The conclusion of these experiences is merely a new beginning for another generation that has set its feet on the right and safe path. We celebrate their university graduation in another national event that, thanks to God Almighty and the wise vision of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, has become a national, even international, event."

The ceremony featured the documentary film "From Our Gardens Begins the Story," a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the child Maria Ahmed from Al-Saqi Kindergarten, and then moved on to purposeful theatrical performances that illustrated all the experiences the children learned in the "Towards the Moon" curriculum.

The first play was titled "I Am a Seed, I Am a Human," the second one was about mathematics, and it included a performance of the play "Daughters of the Caregiver," another titled "Sons of Tigris and Euphrates," the play "The Planets," and the play "About the SEL Program," in addition to a promo film detailing the preparations and arrangements for the graduation ceremony.

The flag handover ceremony was also held, transferring the flag from the kindergarten children who will be joining primary school to the preschool children, concluding the event with the children ascending the platform and performing a song titled "Who is Like Me."
