The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine holds a mourning council on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Al-Baqer (peace be upon him)

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held a mourning council commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Mohammad al-Baqer (peace be upon him) in the reception hall.

The Dean of the Sheikh Al-Waeli Institute for Oratory in Najaf Ashraf, Sheikh Faisal Al-Kadhimi, said: "The gathering included three aspects of Imam Al-Baqer's (peace be upon him) life: the first being the scientific aspect, followed by the social aspect, in addition to the aspect related to Karbala and transforming it from a memory into an issue."

He added that "for every occasion, there are many lessons and morals that we benefit from, as we draw inspiration from the life of Imam Al-Baqer (peace be upon him) in many matters, the most important of which are: renouncing violence, awareness, and sincerity in work, knowledge, and culture."

The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine is keen on commemorating the martyrdom anniversaries of the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) by preparing a comprehensive mourning program that includes holding mourning councils and providing services to the visitors.
